Wicked City’s Shaquita Smith To Produce & Star In Action/Adventure "Voyage of the Forgotten"
Shaquita Smith (AMC’s Wicked City) is set to produce and star in Voyage of the Forgotten, an independent action adventure film about a young historian (Smith) who embarks on a perilous journey to uncover the long-lost adventure gallery ship, laden with gold, only to find herself entangled in a deadly game of deception and betrayal.
The film is set to shoot in the UK in the late spring of 2025. The movie was written by Malcom Ali (The Changers).
TreeHouse Productions has been tapped as the production company that will spearhead the production. Smith is best known for her breakout role as Jordan Davis in AllBlk’s supernatural drama series Wicked City. She also starred in BET+ rom-com, My Valentine Crush, directed by Christopher A. Nolen. Smith also guest-starred in television series including New Amsterdam, NCIS: New Orleans, Hap & Leonard, Homicide Hunter and Survivor’s Remorse, among others.
