Exclusive: Julianne Nicholson on whether Sinatra should be trusted on Paradise

Set in a city-sized underground bunker in Colorado three years after a doomsday event, the series follows United States Secret Service agent Xavier Collins (Sterling K. Brown) as he seeks to discover the truth behind the killing of the President of the United States. As Xavier comes under suspicion for President Bradford's death, he searches for answers about what really happened, and is unsure of whom he can trust as his questions lead to many shocking revelations.
In Paradise, Nicholson plays Samantha Redmond, who is nicknamed Sinatra. She is a powerful and influential member of President Bradford's cabinet. In the aftermath of his death, Sinatra takes charge of the official investigation into President Bradford's death and in deciding how his demise will be presented to the public.
She won an Emmy Award for her performance as Lori Ross in HBO's critically acclaimed miniseries Mare of Easttown. She had a supporting turn in HBO’s Winning Time: The Rise of the Lakers Dynasty. Nicholson has more recently starred in the movies Janet Planet and Dream Scenario. Previously she had a main role in Ally McBeal (2001–2002) and seasons 6-8 of Law & Order: Criminal Intent and in Law & Order True Crime.
